Plan a luxe NFL weekend in the Ritz's best room

Sure, we love to lament LA's lack of a pro football team (no, Team Kiss doesn't count). But being team-less definitely has its perks.

Like leaving us free to root for the team we grew up with. Or trading up from Sunday Ticket to a 3,000 square-foot suite with five flatscreens and views from the mountains to the sea.

If Bruce Wayne/Batfleck was going to watch some games, this is how he'd do it.

Be it opening weekend or wildcard weekend, the most luxurious sports-centric staycation in the city resides downtown at the Ritz-Carlton.

Start your gameday off right, which is to say, in the bathtub, Bloody in hand (for quick recovery from last night's adventures), watching Sunday NFL Countdown via the flatscreen hidden in the vanity mirror (what Coach doesn't know can't hurt him).

Once 10a rolls around, emerge from your spa-like den to join your buddies as they lounge around the giant 50-inch bigscreen in the main living area. After a few endzone dances, you're bound to get hungry. Which means drinks from the wet bar and Buffalo wings via the room service menu.

Or perhaps you decided to go all-out and arrange for a butler to pass apps — crudités, meatballs, or tuna tartare — before your postgame outing downtown.

Sure, you can call him Alfred if you want.

Price: From $7,500/night
Where the flatscreens at? One 50-inch in the living area, one in each bedroom, one in the bathroom, and one in the study. (Yes, there is a study.)
After the game: One of our favorite things about the Ritz is their complimentary car service, which offers pickups and dropoffs anywhere in a 3-mile radius. Just beware: it's first come, first served. So call the concierge ahead of time.
Keep it classy: The room has a six-person occupancy cap. So save those slots for your very best bros.
Nearby: Bestia; Mas Malo; Seven Grand
