The EDM club scene’s new hotness

Ibiza’s been the height of EDM parties since forever, but this year many boldface DJs migrated to Sin City.
But LA’s new Create Nightclub might just be the spot to catch the world’s next Tiëstos and Guettas.
Hold on to your glowsticks and picture this: thousands of beautiful people. A steady downpour of confetti. And, uh, girls with outfits inspired by claw crane vending machines.

And that’s a tame glimpse into opening night.
This 20,000 square foot mega-club (housed in the old Vanguard space) is no “models and bottles” situation, and you can expect zero hassle at the velvet ropes. That’s because the system here is made for prepaid ticket holders, so anyone with a wristband is getting in, be they band geek, hipster, tourist, meathead, or desk jockey.
So check out their upcoming acts, snag tickets and plan to dance. All night long. Seriously — this place is open until 4a.
Enough time to go home, take a nap, and keep your brunch date the next morning.
Just be sure to remove those fuzzy Mickey Mouse ears.
