Austin Power

South By So What?! brings the best of SXSW to Dallas

We don't deny it: Austin oozes cool.

There's live music practically on every corner, vegans pulling lunch right out of their backyard gardens, and a faint green haze emanating in all directions from Willie Nelson.

Of course, we all know the most Austin of all Austin events is South by Southwest. But why travel down a gridlocked 35 when you can have the festival come to you?

Grab your VIP tickets now for the South By So What?! Music Festival, sound checking now for an epic three-day weekend featuring more than 100 bands making a stop in Big D on their way to/from SXSW.

Now in its seventh lucky year, the event brings bands on the rise in rock, pop, metal, hip-hop, and electronic.

This year's headliners include
August Burns Red, Mindless Self Indulgence, and The Devil Wears Prada with dozens of back-to-back warm-up acts.

For the event to be any more Austin, the T-shirts would have to be made of hemp.
