Joy Ride

The Buzz Bike is Dallas' new way to bar hop, sightsee, and get cultured

There's one crucial motivator missing from every gym in America: an open bar.

Dallas now has the next best thing.

Say hello to The Buzz Bike, a 16-passenger mobile pub that's powered by pedaling — with pinot and pilsner pints in your laps.

First thing's first: stretch. Your pals' pedaling provides the manpower propelling this vehicle from start to finish as a Buzz Bike sober pilot safely steers you through the streets of Dallas.

Because you won't be up for driving. That big barrel on the front? It holds an ice-cold, freshly-tapped keg of your choice because it's BYOB (beer and wine only, in non-glass containers).

Choose from one of four routes, including the Arts District, Downtown, Victory Park, or Uptown bars and restaurants. Each tour takes two hours (with the exception of a one-hour Arts District mini tour) and features stops along the way to absorb a little culture or take a picture of a famous site.

Or load up on another drink, more likely.

Rundown Reward: Don't drive home buzzed. Get 20% off Uber using code RUNDOWNDAL (first-time riders only).

If you don't want to rent the entire bike, sign up for the Social Buzz route on Sundays where 30 bucks gets you a seat for two hours and the chance to meet new friends and get a few phone numbers.

Not to mention develop some killer calf muscles.
