It's Friday the 13th. But if you're a music lover or seeker of body art, today's your lucky day.
Welcome to the Elm Street Music & Tattoo Festival, which officially kicked off at 12:01 this morning for a midnight-to-midnight 24-hour tattoo marathon.
So if you wanna get some new ink or cover over that ill-conceived tribal arm band, pop by on your lunch hour. There will be more than 50 tattoo artists from all over the nation ready for your canvas of flesh.
Or wait until tonight when you can get "Mother" scrawled on your bicep between sets from The Reverend Horton Heat at Trees, Ishi at Three Links, or Venomous Maximus at Wits End.
Tomorrow night, another 14 bands take the stage across the three clubs, with Bowling for Soup the must-see headliner. All in all, there will be more than three dozen bands playing over three nights.
Because if the music's loud enough, it'll drown out the buzz of the tattoo needle.
And no one will hear you scream.
