It appears our Top 5 Burgers in Dallas list was a bit premature.

Because this Thursday, the co-founder of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House opens her eponymous Dee Lincoln Steak & Burger Bar for dinner (lunch service begins Monday) and there are already multiple contenders on her menu alone.

Known for delivering customers mouthwatering steaks for years, she's teamed with Executive Chef Juliard Ishizuka to focus on creative burgers that highlight steakhouse quality ingredients and just happen to fit between two buns.

There are more burgers available at lunch (nine) than dinner (six), so if you want to sink your choppers into The Benedict (a beef patty gone to brunch with sunny side up egg, bernaise sauce, tomato bacon jam, and frisee), the meatless Fried Green Tomato, or the spicy crabcake-centric Voodoo, you'll have to do that during work hours.

Of course, this is Dee Lincoln we're talking about. So feel welcome to skip the burger and opt for an expertly grilled 18-ounce rib eye instead.
