Race tracks. They're not just for fast cars and flying tires any more.
Now they're officially home to less noisy endeavors. The Best Little Brewfest in Texas, for one.
Held at the infield garage of Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth (graciously away from the searing heat radiating off the blacktop), this event was created to highlight special releases, firkins, one-offs, seasonal brews, and otherwise limited or hard-to-find craft beers.
The lineup includes more than 100 handcrafted selections from 50 craft breweries, including Community Beer, Rahr & Sons, and Armadillo Ale Works.
All proceeds from the event benefit the Alzheimer's Association and Teen Suicide Prevention. Plus, snag one of the last VIP passes available for early access, premium beer selections, convenient parking, and tasty snacks.
Either way, each paid admission gets a one-year digital subscription to The Beer Connoisseur Magazine.
Which you'll practically be able to write by the time this thing is over.
