Dad of All Trades

Father's Day at Asador combines all of his loves in one

It's notoriously hard to shop for fathers. They simultaneously want something they can use, something they need, and something they want without actually knowing that they want it yet.

Lucky for you, all three categories are covered at Asador, the farm-to-fire restaurant inside the Renaissance Hotel. There, you and your entire family can join Dad in a cavalcade of earthly delights.

Start out with a mixology lesson and learn to handcraft what Dad needs: a perfect old fashioned. Cherry on top and everything.

Next up, something Dad wants without knowing it: the sweet, clingy smoke of a tightly rolled cigar. Every man needs his annual Scarface moment, so just let him have it.

Once you've admired those lopsided "O" smoke rings, you'll jump in a golf cart to Hank Haney Golf Center where you'll each get to show a bucket of balls who's boss.

Then, back to the restaurant for a leisurely lunch.

Heck, even if your dad's not in Dallas, you can pretend to be one and reserve this package for yourself.
