Dallas, prepare for an all-out Margarita Meltdown

Finally, a reality competition we can get behind.

No screeching singers. No posturing celebrity judges. And no spinning chairs. (Though after too many margaritas, spinning rooms, is entirely possible.)

It's called Dallas Margarita Meltdown, taking place this Sunday night in the Bishop Arts District.

There, you'll walk salt-rimmed streets packed with tequila gladiators. Taste the best from Meso Maya, Ten Bells Tavern, El Ranchito, The People's Last Stand, Urban Taco, and last year's winner Whiskey Cake. They'll all be battling against a dozen new restaurants and bars, among them Sunset Lounge, Boulevardier and the soon-to-open Mutts Canine Cantina.

In total, there will be 29 margaritas for the tasting, so you'll definitely benefit from a designated driver.
Rundown Reward: Stay safe and save $20 off your first ride in a luxury car from UBER using discount code UD3217.

Best of all, you determine the winner. After tasting every variation, simply text your vote and the victor will have a year's worth of bragging rights for creating the best margarita in Dallas.

Meanwhile, you can brag about the greatest buzz.
