Running with a fever: bad.
Running with disco fever: super freaky.
In two weeks, break out the athletic platform shoes, water-repellant afro wigs, and bell-bottom Under Armour gear for the inaugural Disco Run produced by Dallas Athletes Racing.
Choose either the 5K or 10K course (that's two laps of the 5K, to be exact). Along the routes DJ-manned Disco Aid stations allow you to hydrate with cold water before taking a momentary break to demonstrate your best Travolta moves. You know, to keep "warm."
Receive a tie-dyed race T-shirt just for participating. And after crossing the finish line, be awarded a huge disco medallion (official bling factor to be determined), as well as food, drinks, and plenty of hot pancakes.
As MJ so eloquently sang, "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough."
