Puppies & Chow

The Dallas restaurant scene goes to the dogs at Kibble & Cocktails

Man's best friend: pictured above.

A close second: the cold beer he's staring at.

And on April 9, your loves of pubs and pups come together at the second annual Kibble & Cocktails fundraiser.

Fill up on food from FT33, Jorge's Tex-Mex, and Nosh, paired with juices from Bottled Poetry Wines and one of those cold beers from Deep Ellum Brewery.

Best of all,
William Grant & Sons taps into its vast portfolio of spirits to create custom cocktail pairings for each of the restaurant's dishes.

It's all hosted by
smart-and-sexy Sybil Summers from KRLD-FM, 105.3 The Fan. Sponsored by ultra-luxe doggie daycare and hotel facility Barking Hound Village, all proceeds benefit DFW Rescue Me, a no-kill organization that pulls pooches from death row and finds them permanent homes.

And as if the cause, cocktails, or cuisine weren't enough, there's also a live auction and a raffle that includes airline tickets, hockey tickets, and autographed sports memorabilia.

Yeah, our tails are wagging, too.
