She won't tell you.
But the truth is everything you do as a first date/boyfriend/potential husband is getting stacked against Ryan Gosling in this scene.
Luckily, you're going to do one better. You're going to do the romantic canoe thing by night.
Experience a different kind of date night this spring and summer with the Full Moon Paddle, an intimate outing on Trinity River capped at 12 participants. And no, that doesn't include the beavers, deer, and raccoons who lurk beneath and near the shadowy waters (cheering you on, obviously).
Spots are limited, so we'll wait here while you book your date.
The tour starts approximately 30 minutes prior to sunset to maximize time spent under the light of the moon. All you need to bring is your one true love (or soul mate du jour) and a sense of adventure.
The Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge supplies the canoes, paddles and life jackets. Nature provides the full moon.
Don't forget to write down what happened in your notebook.
