Poll Party

Cast your vote (then party) at the first-ever Chicago Nightlife Awards

The most important election of this season isn’t taking place in Crimea.
It’s happening online. And this one isn't rigged.

Cast your vote now for the reigning czars of Chicago’s party scene at the first annual Chicago Nightlife Awards. Winners will be announced April 1 at Concord Music Hall, with an afterparty to follow.
But first there is business to attend to, like casting your vote (through March 31) for best bartender, best nightclub, best dive bar, best DJ, best bottle service, etc. And let’s not forget about best go-dancer.
You can also pick best rooftop (J. Parker and The Godfrey among them), weekly party of the year (including, of course, Porn & Chicken), and best new club (a battle featuring American Junkie and Headquarters Beercade.)
And instead of Ellen DeGeneres, the awards will be presented by a who’s who of guest presenters from the local nightlife scene including reps from React Presents, Windish Agency, and Huffington Post.
In addition to copious amounts of Old Style and Jameson, this could also be your chance to rub shoulders with Wicker Park Alderman Joe Moreno, who will also be in attendance.
Seems as good a time as any to mention that nasty pothole problem on your street…
