Show Offs

First Look for Charity is one of the classiest nights of the year

Hot cars, hot women, and a band of former Bears players?

Seems like a pretty decent evening to us.

Blow your next date away at next week’s First Look for Charity Gala at the Chicago Auto Show, a black-tie affair that gets you inside McCormick Place to see the cars before the auto show opens the next day.

That means a first look at the 1,000 production and concept cars at North America’s largest auto show (taking place Feb 8-17), including the racecar-themed Mazda Club Sport 3 and Toyota FT-1 (pictured.)

Besides cars, there’s an opulent Winter Games-themed tasting menu with global cuisine including Italian wagyu beef ravioli, Brazilian flank steak, and maple black pepper bacon skewers representing the USA.

Sip a Gentlemen Jack while dressed to the nines in your tux as you cruise the showroom floor with your date, coconut mojito in hand, raising money for 18 local charities in the process.

The only thing left to do is make your presence known on the dance floor, with 80s cover band 16 Candles, and the Otis Wilson/Steve McMichael-led former Bears band The Chicago 6.

Why? Because that’s just how you roll.
