24 hours of improv and music at Second City

This Christmas, Second City is staying up all night. Literally.
Are they waiting for Santa? Not exactly.
They're hosting a 24-hour-long performance featuring Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy (pictured) and SNL/Portlandia star Fred Armisen called The Second City That Never Sleeps: 24 Hour.
The charity benefit features music and improv as Armisen trades jokes with the cast of Second City and Tweedy shares the stage with fellow rockers including iconic singer/songwriter Bob Mould and indie darling St. Vincent.
Can’t make it to Second City? Not a problem. The show will also be streamed live in its entirety for free via the event website, where donations will also be accepted if you’re in the giving mood.
There will also be a live raffle to win prizes such as a recording session with legendary local producer Steve Albini at his famed studio Electrical Audio or tickets to a live taping of SNL.
If that’s not enough, there’s also online feline phenom Lil Bub making her long-awaited Second City debut.
Internet cats. The new Christmas elves.
