Punch Out

The Longman guys punch up Pilsen

Full_punch_house

Looking for a reason to visit Pilsen? How about three?

The guys from Longman & Eagle have got the bases loaded at the renovated Thalia Hall.

Reason number one: A restored second-story theater circa 1892 originally designed after the old Prague Opera House that today will house live concerts and art shows.

Reason number two: Nose to tail dining inside first floor restaurant Dusek's. Everything on the menu, from crispy pig tails to confit porchetta, is designed to be paired with a beer from an exclusive list curated by a master cicerone.

Reason number three: Ending the evening in the basement punch bar. Punch House (pictured) specializes in booze by the bowl ranging from the classic brandy milk punch to a contemporary tequila concoction known as Space Juice.

All signs point to Pilsen, or the next punch bowl is on us.
