High Life

Cocktails and small plates on the 18th floor at Drumbar

The Mile High Club is all fun and games until a sky marshal introduces you to his 50,000-volt taser.

18 floors up works just fine at Drumbar, where you won't be playing it safe so much as playing it swanky.

This roopftop lounge above the Raffaello Hotel opens Friday to elevate not just your body, but also your game.

Leave mojitos and muddled greens to the pool. Up high you can partake in rare single-malt whiskeys, scotches, and Kentucky bourbons, served alongside classic cocktails.

When it gets chilly, enter the speakeasy-style interior featuring a white marble bar and leather banquettes, illuminated by copper light fixtures underneath a vaulted, dark-paneled ceiling.

Pair your drinks with pastas and small plate dishes from the hotel's upscale Italian eatery Pelago and its Michelin-rated chef.

It all comes together at the gorgeous outdoor patio tucked amongst skyscrapers complete with fire pits, forest green booths and views of office stiffs stuck at their day jobs.

We won't blame you if you never want to come down from that high.
