Paws Up

Whiskey flights and scallop lollipops at The Monkey's Paw

You spend the first on a glass of whiskey to ease the pressure, then spend the second on a nice, calm setting to mull over the third.

You won't need that third one because you've landed at The Monkey's Paw in Lincoln Park, a neighborhood gastropub with a wall of whiskey and an internationally inspired menu.

With nine whiskey flights grouped by region, save that last wish to cure tomorrow’s hangover.

Or soak up the flights with one of three varieties of fish & chips (including yellowtail ceviche and ale-battered whitefish) before snacking on chicken tandoori lollipops.

Confused by poutine with duck confit and pear béchamel? Order the clambake with ale-braised mussels and Spanish chorizo.

Share the wealth and tip the staff by ordering a “kitchen high-six,” which sends a six-pack to the back of the house.

It's the best way to avoid the curse — and to be welcomed back.
