Semper Fi

BurgerFi breaks the Boston burger battle wide open

Beautiful women. Job recruiters. Pick-up basketball teams.

You're used to having people fight over you. Can't blame them.
With the arrival of BurgerFi on BU campus, that list now includes burger joints. Not a bad thing at all.
Considering the plentiful burger options available, the Florida-based chain has arrived with a compelling pitch to instantly stand out from the crowd: natural, never-frozen, free-range, Angus beef. Double-stacked
That's a good start, but then it gets even better. Try all-natural hot dogs (in Chicago, New York, Texas, or Kobe beef varieties), craft beer on tap, and wine by the glass; paired with fresh-cut fries topped by chili or parmesan cheese & herbs.
But if you're gonna go Semper Fi and seize the day, you've got to do it at sunrise. The Breakfast All Day burger is a serious wake-up call with American cheese, hickory bacon drizzled with maple syrup, fried egg, hash browns, grilled onions, and ketchup.
Not to mention BurgerFi's answer to In-And-Out's famous "Animal Style" burger, but keep that one just between us. It's on the secret menu for a reason.
Taking this courtship home — old fashioned red velvet frozen custard
Ironic to see red velvet helping close you for once.
