Flavor Savvor

Savvor Lounge leaves you with plenty of nice things to say

In the South, they have great sayings like "putting lipstick on a pig."
But this is Boston, so we just came up with one of our own: "Your date can put lipstick on pig skin cracklins, as long as she shares some." (We meant sharing the cracklin, not the lipstick.)

You'll see what we mean in the Leather District lounge, where Savvor Restaurant & Lounge now serves up some of the best comfort food in the city.
You'll be comfortable the moment you walk in, thinking "this place looks familiar." Well, you're right, it's the former District space amped up with bright splashes of color mixed in with the same metallic silver fixtures and toasted brown wooden floors.
The menu follows suit, with your favorite dishes amped up with bright splashes of flavor. Go for mac & cheese spiked with aged cheddar and Pretty Things beer. Order up a plate of crawfish hush puppies and creamy, haunting, gloriously good shrimp & grits.
For your entree, split the dry aged bone-in rib eye steak with garlicky cheddar biscuits. And a few tastings from the Caribbean rum menu.

Oh, and entire handfuls of that crunchy pig cracklin.

And maybe her lipstick, if you wanna share in something else.
