2. Jaliscan Monk (Flask & Funnel)
Spice, and everything nice. Custom cocktailier Andrew Fatato of FlaskandFunnel.com created this tequila-based cocktail with a bit of heat, in the form of fresh cracked peppercorn. 'Cause we can use heat anywhere we can find it.
1.5 oz tequila
.75 oz green chartreuse
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
.25 oz simple syrup
3 basil leaves
4-8 black peppercorns
Crack peppercorns (add more for additional spiciness) with a muddler in a shaker, then add the remaining ingredients and ice. Shake, and double-strain. Serve up, garnish with a basil leaf.
