  • Comedy Central: David Koechner

Breaking news: Ron Burgundy's sportscaster sidekick "Champ" Kind kills it at area theatre. That, plus the weather.

Will sent me: Anchorman 2 marks Koechner's fourth Will Ferrell film, alongside Talladega Nights, Semi-Pro and the original Anchorman.

Nearby: Abby Lane; Tunnel; Good Life

  • Sit, Stop, Slurp: Noodle Stop

Because any good weekend should start with a visit to a pop-up Vietnamese street-style noodle bar. And then a visit to a real bar.

Two of everything: Expect a changing menu of noodle dishes and inexpensive snacks (think spicy chicken wonton soup).

Fri 5-9p. Bon Me, One Kendall Square, Kendall Square (617-989-9804).

Nearby: State Park; Flat Top Johnny's; Tommy Doyle's

  • Beer Quest: Where's Waldo? Bar Crawl

You'll spot tons of Waldos having an awesome time sipping through Faneuil Hall's bars on Saturday.

Costumes: Grab your glasses and best red-and-white striped sweater — costumes are mandatory on this crawl.

Sat Noon-7:30p. Faneuil Hall, Financial District. $20 here.

    Nearby: Saus; Sterling's; Cheers

  • Sox Sounds: Hot Stove Cool Music

Theo Epstein's annual fundraiser is the All-Star Game of offseason concerts.

Lineup: Kingsley Flood and Epstein's own band headline, while MC Mike O'Malley answers your Nickelodeon GUTS questions between sets.

Sat 5:30-11p. Paradise Rock Club, 967 Commonwealth Ave., Boston (617-562-8800). $40-150 here.
