Booty Call

Barry's Boot Camp kicks you into shape this fall

You won't find inner peace or your inner warrior at Barry's Boot Camp.

Just maybe your insides.

Notorious for pushing its classes to the very limit, then cleaning up the entrails afterwards, Barry's isn't that place where you and your trainer talk about Girls between sets of 15 reps.

It's a boot camp. As in, if you vomit, they'll give you a T-shirt as a badge of honor. Seriously.

They blast the music so loud you can't hear your own breathing, because if you did, you'd black out from fear alone. You'll be so sore after your first workout, you'll question every workout you've ever slogged through.

Just look at the clients. This is where J-Lo and Kim Kardashian work out. Not Lena Dunham.

Their secrets? Intervals. With terrifyingly effective trainers yelling you to your limits and beyond, you'll jump from jogs to uphill climbs to sprints to backward runs, switching between cardio on their customized Woodway treadmills to strength training with resistance bands, medicine balls, and free weights.

Five-minute intervals. 30-minute intervals. You'll never know until one of the 10 high-intensity classes begins.

The 4,600 square-foot facility comes fully loaded with showers, digital lockers, and protein shakes from the "fuel bar" for your post-workout cool down.

But don't worry, you can take those endorphins with you.
