Seduction in Seven Courses

A new pop-up in the North End will Whisk you away

Full_whisk

Pop-ups are like summer flings: the fun times end just when you start getting into it.

Keep the romance going (at least through September) at Whisk, taking up temporary residency on Hanover Street in the North End.

Chances are you've been seduced at least once by this concept restaurant while making your rounds around the city — their creative use of fresh, local ingredients is unparalleled.

If you're looking to make a commitment, you might want to keep looking: tasting menus of three, five, or seven courses will change weekly (with wine pairings for an additional $20-$25).

The common thread: unexpected flavor combinations like salmon, walnuts and pomegranate with pickled fennel jam, confit duck & chestnut ravioli, or oysters spiced with horseradish.

We can only promise that the place will stay put until the end of September.

Pro tip: it's best for everyone involved to enjoy the moment, and don't ask too many questions about where this is going.
