We've got about a week of hockey left.
Which means regardless of what happens on the ice, we're going out like champions by drinking plenty, screaming plenty, and eating these four Bruins-inspired food specials.
The Killer B at Pauli's
Recover from triple-OT thrillers by skipping breakfast and going straight to Pauli's for the Bruins-inspired Killer B sub, a crispy chicken cutlet topped with provolone cheese, bacon, mixed lettuce, tomatoes, and honey mustard, available now through the Stanley Cup Finals. Wear a Bruins jersey when you order and you'll get a second sub on the house. Call it an assist.
Pauli's, 65 Salem St., North End (857-284-7064). $7.49.
Black & Gold Pasta at Strega Waterfront
Lord Stanley seems like the type who would prefer shaved truffles on his pasta, which you can do while watching the Bruins fight for the most famous beverage holder in all of sports. Exclusively on game nights, Strega Waterfront is serving its pasta specials in the only two colors you need: Black (squid ink homemade pasta and gold truffle oil) and Gold (fettucini with shaved black truffles).
Strega Waterfront, One Marina Park Dr., Seaport (617-345-3992). $28-34.
Blackhawks vs. Bruins Menu at Abby Lane
When the Boston-Chicago rivalry inspires something like this, it's fair to say that everyone is a winner. For every game during the series, the chefs at Abby Lane serve the best of the Bean — Maine lobster sliders, thin crust North End pizza, and the classic roast beef baguette — against specialties from the Windy City like sausage sliders, Italian tenderloin beef sandwich, and cheese-on-top pepperoni pizza.
Abby Lane, 255 Tremont St., Theatre District (617-451-2229). $4-13.
Bruins Pie at Ducali Pizzeria & Bar
The Finals are a tough ticket to get, but if your guy (and his guy, and his guy's guy) can't score you a seat, snag an open seat at Ducali Pizzeria & Bar, just around the corner from the Garden. Post up at a table in front of their big screen projector, order their special Bruins Pie (portabella mushrooms, with a sage and sherry cream sauce) and spend all that money you saved on endless pitchers of Peroni.
Ducali Pizzeria & Bar, 289 Causeway St., North End (617-742-4144). $9.
