Second chances are rare in life.
You don't get to unsend that email, unforget that birthday, or in most cases, "start fresh."
But somehow it's happening at The Palm, the classic seafood and steakhouse now showing off her sexy new makeover in the Financial District.
When last we saw her, The Palm was aging gracefully while tucked away inside the Westin Copley Place hotel. Now in International Place (you know, that building you always walked by but never really noticed), the massive dining room greets you with chiseled marble columns, locally-themed caricature art, and plush leather seating for up to 300 people (it's even okay to have a Freddie Prinze Jr. moment on your first visit).
Granted, it's kind of hard to feel sorry for yourself while feasting on a surf and turf special of aged-to-perfection 24-oz bone-in ribeye steak and fresh Nova Scotia lobster. But if that isn't your thing, the menu's packed with prime cut meats, seafood, and Italian favorites.
And yes, you can always order seconds.
