With your busy social schedule, it can be tough to find time to sneak a little mid-week culture into your life.
Unless, of course, you can meet said culture out for drinks on a Wednesday night.
You can at ASSEMBLE, a new weekly event series at the Emerald Lounge and your best chance at seeing the best in the city's art scene without putting down your whiskey and Coke.
Put together by Future Boston, the ASSEMBLE series brings eclectic and avant-garde artists into the spotlight for a night. This Wednesday, fashion designer and retailer Seven Halos brings along his line of jewelry and accessories with a pop-up shop, in case you need to knock out some early Christmas shopping.
If bling-bling isn't your thing, check out the Sneaker Museum event on October 10, featuring a curated collection of vintage Air Jordan sneakers, collectibles from Jordan's career (yes, including Space Jam), a fashion show of classic Jordan gear, and a multimedia installation featuring original art and photography.
And unlike a real museum, there will be beats. The event coincides with Mondo, the lounge's weekly party featuring a rotating roster of DJs spinning laid-back grooves all night.
Looks like you and your new Wednesday night culture will get along just fine.
