If you don't have weeks to spend scouring the globe on The Amazing Race, you can now do the same thing on a Saturday in Boston.
Outside of getting on reality TV, the Great Urban Race is your best shot at winning a competition that's part marathon, part scavenger hunt and all Boston.
Starting at 11a in Harvard Square, you and your team of up to four people will rush from one end of the city to the other, attempting to solve 12 clues and complete a series of challenges before the rest of the chasing pack.
Physically fit? Sure, but can you act out a quick scene with a Shakespearean acting troupe?
Or decipher a code written in Swahili?
If you can do both faster than the competition, you'll win plenty of local bragging rights, plus a spot at the national finals in Las Vegas to compete against racers from other cities.
Now that would be amazing.
