The Circuit
Get past the velvet rope with our guide to new nightclubs
If you're up for bottle service and celebrity sightings, these are the hot spots. This week.

Mi-6
The Vibe: James Bond meets the Starship Enterprise. The former Foxtail has been decked out with an LED-lit dancefloor, mirrored walls and ceilings, and sofas straight from a supervillain's lair. Crowd is ripped from the pages of Us Weekly.
The Night: Tuesday
The Strategy: There’s no two ways around it — get there early with a girl-to-guy ratio of 3/1.
9077 Santa Monica Blvd. (310-859-8369). Nearby: The Abbey; Palihouse; Red Rock

Guys and Dolls
The Vibe: This is what it must feel like to be on-set at a “Hollywood club” on a CW network show — aspiring starlets dancing on booths, American Idol contestants, and WeHo prettyboys.
The Night: Tuesday
The Strategy: Be friendly. Seriously. Get pushy and you'll get bounced to the back of the line.
8713 Beverly Blvd. (310-360-0290). Nearby: Stone Rose Lounge; Villa; Roger Room

Wonderland
The Vibe: An Alice in Wonderland update to the old Shag property courtesy of Dolce Group, the team behind Les Deux and Geisha House. Expect a similar crowd of the overly spray-tanned and scantily clothed; the girls from The Hills helped ring in the club’s opening last week.
The Night: Wednesday
The Strategy: Go with somebody who knows somebody.
1835 N. Cahuenga Blvd. (323-957-1599). Nearby: The Room; The Well; Velvet Margarita

Voyeur
The Vibe: The name delivers: Girls in almost non-existent outfits roll around in a net strung above the lounge (think trapeze practice), while others in fishnet bodysuits and sequined pasties perform behind the glass-enclosed stage. It’s all very look-but-don’t-touch.
The Night: Thursday
The Strategy: Dress the part — the less, the better.
7969 Santa Monica Blvd. (310-255-1111). Nearby: Bar Lubitsch; Winston's; Crown Bar

Playhouse
The Vibe: Vegas without the road trip. This is a massive space (750-person capacity) with Cirque du Soleil-style performers dangling from the ceiling. Plenty of bars and showgirl-style cocktail girls busting out of burlesque corsets make it easy to get a drink. A retractable roof in the upstairs lounge allows for indoor smoking.
The Night: Friday
The Strategy: RSVP here. Though it won’t guarantee entry, it helps.
6505 Hollywood Blvd. (323-656-4800). Nearby: Deluxe; Bardot; Jane’s House

Madame Royale

The Vibe: An indoor/outdoor lounge nestled just off the Cahuenga Corridor. The low-lit, brick-lined back patio makes for intimate conversation, and the outdoor bar means there’s no hassle getting a drink.
The Night: Saturday
The Strategy: Call ahead.
6423 Yucca St. (310-880-1643). Nearby: Bardot; Empire; Capitol City
