Super Bowl Ad Champions
Betty White stars in a Snickers spot here voted the fan favorite of the Super Bowl commercials, according to USA Today. Other popular ads include Oprah, Letterman and Leno sharing a couch here and the Bud Light observatory here.
Now that football season is over, it's time for football season. Register tomorrow for your last best chance for tickets to World Cup in South Africa, in ten stadiums across nearly as many cities from June 11-July 11.

Tickets
Ticket sales are broken down into phases and assigned by lottery. Two million vouchers have already been allotted. The next phase starts tomorrow thru Apr 7, so apply for tickets now right here. First-round matches have already been slated, and you can apply to see your favorite teams here.

Opening matches will set you back $200-$450, finals from $400-$900, and matches in between $80 to $600. If you don't get picked, the final phase is a fire sale on whatever — if anything — is still available (from Apr 15 to July 11).

Getting There

Four major airports dot South Africa, conveniently all within host cities (Cape Town, Johannesburg and two in Durban). Familiar car rental companies (Hertz, Avis, etc.) are represented at airports and in cities, so you can easily pick up a ride in Jo-berg and hand it over after your safari to somewhere else. If you're looking to build up some sky miles, flying from game to game is even easier.

Where to Stay
Because the games are so spread out, FIFA’s website has a hotel search tool allowing you to find available hotels from 1-5 stars within each host city.

For families and corporate groups, your best bet is Match, a hospitality service dealing out premium tickets along with catering, bar service, parking passes and entertainment for each event (as well as handling accommodations). Contact their US rep, Sportsmark Management, for more info on packages (415-464-4103 or soccerhospitality@sportsmark.com) or send an inquiry through FIFA's site here.
